Auricular Acupuncture
Chinese Auricular Acupuncture is a powerful Microsystem of Acupuncture in which the whole body is represented in the ear. Students will learn how to locate and needle specific points to treat a wide range of illness, pain and imbalance as well as utilising Traditional Chinese Medicine theories such as 5 Element Theory to enhance their practical skills.
Students will learn the functions of and be able to locate and needle 10 key points known as Master Points. These points are utilised to treat a number of health complaints and are combined with other points corresponding to organ functions to restore health. Students will then be taught to effectively combine these points using no more than 5 or 6 points at any time into an effective protocol to aid recovery from migraines and headaches, musculoskeletal pain and inflammation, digestive imbalances, allergies and hayfever, and stress and anxiety.
This course is a highly practical course and students will be able to apply Auricular Acupuncture with both needles and none needle alternatives such as press pellets and seeds.

- History and development of Auricular Acupuncture
- Its uses in today’s complementary healthcare
- Working safely in clinical practice
- Anatomy of the ear and location of the body within the ear
- Visual and manual diagnosis techniques
- Use of auricular needles, press pellets and seeds
- Identification of and safe needling of specific auricular points including Master Points.
- Protocols for the treatments of:
- Migraine and headaches.
- Musculoskeletal inflammation and pain
- Digestive imbalances
- Allergies and Hay fever
- Stress and anxiety
Auricular acupuncture can be effectively combined with other treatment techniques such as Body Acupuncture, KORE Therapy, Reflexology, Body Massage etc.

Payment plan: £120 deposit to secure a place then the remaining £150 to be paid on course commencement
